Subordinate Court Registry Office

Court of Session

• Hearing all civil cases worth more than RM100,000.00 (one hundred thousand ringgit) but not exceeding RM1,000,000.00 (one million ringgit)
• Hearing all criminal cases except those subject to the death penalty.
• Provide monthly statistics of civil and criminal cases

Magistrate Court

• Hearing civil cases with the amount of disputes or claims not exceeding RM100,000.00 (one hundred thousand ringgit).
• Hearing criminal offenses that are subject to a fine and imprisonment not exceeding 10 years in prison or a fine only and can impose a sentence not exceeding 5 years in prison, a fine not exceeding RM10,000.00 and/or 12 lashes
• Provide monthly statistics of civil and criminal cases

Lower Court Registry Office

• Regulating the discipline of officers and staff at the Lower Court Registry Office Unit
• Responsible for the registration of civil and criminal cases at the lower court level
• Making Case Management for Lower Court cases
• Issuing Arrest Warrants, Search Warrants and other applications from the authorities and signing Arrest Warrants, Orders, Orders to produce, Summons, register books and other related matters including bail matters for arrest cases.
• Manage all drafts/net orders, drafts/net judgments for Lower Court cases
• Signing and approving subpoenas for the attendance of witnesses to Court for trial
• Managing the Magistrate's duty schedule for remand matters at the Pahang State Magistrate's Court
• Perform other tasks as directed from time to time

Responsible for providing monthly statistics globally for Lower Court civil and criminal cases
